Our Solution

OUR COMMITMENT TO WATERPROOFING INTEGRITY

TileWare’s patented PermaTile™ Rough-in anchors, rigorously tested by the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) and compliant with ANSI A118.10 standards for load-bearing, bonded waterproof membranes, revolutionize accessory mounting for wall applications in tile showers, steam showers, and wet rooms. Traditional penetrating anchors—plastic toggles, hollow-wall anchors, or mollys—breach waterproofing membranes, allowing water intrusion into wall cavities with substrates like drywall. The cellulose in drywall, particularly when used with Schluter KERDI systems, serves as a food source for actinobacteria, fueling mold and bacterial growth that leads to catastrophic failure, health hazards, and significant liabilities. Worse, anchors that penetrate void manufacturers’ waterproofing warranties, exposing stakeholders to costly repairs and legal risks. PermaTile™’s non-penetrating, mortar-based solution eliminates these risks, ensuring robust, compliant installations that protect the entire project community.

OUR TECHNOLOGY: ENGINEERED FOR WALL APPLICATIONS

PermaTile’s™ is the industry’s only TCNA-tested, non-penetrating, mortar-based fastening system, designed to preserve the integrity of waterproofing membranes over solid wall substrates. Compatible with liquid, sheet, or foam-core membranes like Schluter KERDI, Laticrete HYDRO BAN, and Wedi Fundo and Building Panels, PermaTile’s™ integrates tile substrates, modified thinset adhesive, tile, and precision-welded stainless steel anchors into a unified, load-bearing structure—comparable to rebar in cement. PermaTile’s™ distributes mechanical loads across multiple adhesive points. This ensures compliance with ANSI A118.10, prevents membrane breaches, and eliminates water intrusion, actinobacteria proliferation, and warranty violations. PermaTile’s™ streamlines workflows, reduces liability, and fosters collaboration, delivering peace of mind for all stakeholders.
